Registration NOW OPEN for the ASECS 2021 Online Annual Meeting*

 

We are pleased to announce that registration is NOW OPEN for the ASECS 2021 Online Annual meeting! Visit https://registration.socio.events/e/asecs2021 to register. Remember you must be a member of ASECS or ISECS to present at the annual meeting. If you need to join or renew your membership, you may do so on the registration form or by visiting https://asecs.press.jhu.edu/membership/join.

 

We have included a tutorial for registration below. If you have any difficulty registering, please don’t hesitate to contact the ASECS Office at asecsoffice@gmail.com.

Tutorial for Purchasing Your ASECS 2021 Online Annual Meeting Registration Ticket

Visit https://registration.socio.events/e/asecs2021 and read the “About Us” Section. Select which ticket type you would like to purchase and how many tickets you would like to purchase, and then click the blue button labeled “Get Ticket.”

 

Next, fill out your First and Last name, as well as a valid email. Then review the ASECS Harassment Policy and Participant Agreement and select your preferred response to them. After that, click on the blue button labeled “Continue.”

 

Then fill in your payment information, review and check off the terms and conditions box, and click on the blue button labeled “Place Order.” Finally, check your email – you’ll receive receipt for your purchase! Note: The link to access the Annual Meeting platform will be emailed to you in early April. In the meantime, you may visit https://www.asecs2021.org/ where we are continuing to add information about the meeting's events and logistics.

 

And that’s it! You will then be officially registered for the ASECS 2021 Online Annual Meeting!

ASECS 2021 Virtual Annual Meeting Rates

Rates for the virtual annual meeting registration are outlined below. We will not have a single day registration option this year but will have a flat rate for the whole conference taking place 7-11 April 2021.


Full Conference Registration rates

  • General registration - $80 USD

  • Students/contingent faculty/emeriti faculty/unemployed registration - $35


Deadline to Register

None!  Registration is done real time and you can register for the annual meeting up-to-the-minute!  However, session chairs and panelists are required to register in advance to receive communication regarding their sessions and information on trainings for the annual meeting.
 

Deadline to cancel for partial refund

29 March 2021.  There will be no refunds given after this date.
 

Registration Policies

Cancellation, refund, and change requests must be made in writing no later than 29 March 2021, prior to the start of the virtual conference. A refund of the registration fee, minus a $15 administrative fee, will be given for cancellations received by that date. Submit all requests to the ASECS Office. Substitutions or transfers are gladly accepted. 

Transfer Policy

To transfer your full registration prior to the event, the already-registered individual must submit a written request to ASECS by 29 March 2021. Transfers cannot be accepted after this time. Only one transfer is permitted per original registrant. The individual submitting the transfer request is responsible for all financial obligations (any balance due) associated with that substitution. E-mail the ASECS Office to request a transfer of your registration, or with questions about the transfer policy.

 

Consent to Use of Images

Registration and attendance at, or participation in, this event constitutes an agreement by the registrant to the use and distribution of the registrant or attendees' image or voice in photographs, video recordings, electronic reproductions, and audio dof such events and activities by the event organizers and other third parties, including but not limited the virtual event host.
